What it is
A potato with up to six weapons fights waves of aliens in a small arena. Each wave lasts between 20 and 90 seconds, then a shop opens where you spend the materials you collected on weapons and items, and about twenty waves make a full run. Made by a solo developer, it has sold more than ten million copies.
Why it's like Vampire Survivors
Weapons fire on their own by default, the hordes grow every wave, and every level and every shop visit is a build decision. It even costs the same $4.99 on Steam, and a run fits in under half an hour.
What's different
The game is cut into short waves with a shop between each, so most of your power comes from buying rather than from chests and evolutions. You can stack several copies of one weapon, which leads to very different builds.
